Tizen 2.0 Magnolia looks fascinating and it might be a great start for the Tizen as it will launch under Samsung’s flagship so it does not need to get stretched to get huge success worldwide. And it shows that Samsung is serious about Android alternative, In other words Now, Samsung does not need to get depend on Google’s android anymore.
Key Features of Tizen 2.0 :-
- It supports Full Screen.
- You can work on different apps on the same time as it supports Multi-Window too.
- Bluetooth and NFC supported.
Its successor, Tizen 2.1 expected to be launched in the 2nd quarter of 2013. Some of the features Tizen 2.1 appends account management, application installing service, livebox support, performance optimization, and a security enhancement.

I have never heard of ‘tizen’ before in my life. If those images are of the tizen OS it looks a lot like Android Gingerbread
There are so many OSes are launched recently. Ubuntu, Mozilla and now Samsung. Samsung even earlier released Bada OS and stopped working on it. Unless, any OS is there in the market, it is very hard to get Apps. Hope, atleast this time Samsung continues to work on Tizen and stays for long time….

It will be very challengeable job for the samsung to sustain with this os.
I’ve been using Tizen for awhile now and love it. Well, it keeps me organized. I love verizon since they have low prices but sometimes I have trouble getting service if I am out of the city. In California, I noticed the service is pretty good compared with other locations when I am on travel leave.
